If You're Not Happy, You Don't Pay

We don't get many complaints. But we get the odd one — a missed pane, a streak in a bad light, something that wasn't right when you came to look. It happens. And when it does, the usual story is a quick one: we come back, sort it out, and everyone's happy. Most things are fixable, and we'd always rather fix them than argue about them.

But every now and then there's a job that, for whatever reason, just isn't right for someone. Maybe we can't get it to the standard you wanted. Maybe it's simply not a fit. Rightly or wrongly, you're not happy — and at that point, here's how we deal with it.

We won't charge you.

That's it. We'll try our best to put it right first, every time. But if we genuinely can't, we're not going to take your money for a job you weren't pleased with. The hassle of chasing a payment from an unhappy customer — for both of us — is worth far more than the price of a window clean. It's not worth it for you, and it's not worth it for us.

So we part ways, quietly and with no hard feelings. You go and find the window cleaner who's right for you, and we'll go and find the customers who are right for us. No one's the villain. Sometimes it's just not a match.

We think that's a fairer deal all round — and honestly, it keeps the whole thing pleasant, which is rather the point.
